Brinkmann 5-Burner Model 810-9520-S is one of the most cheaply priced 5 Burner Gas grills available in the market today. This grill is pretty lightweight for a five burner gas unit. The 5-Burner Model#810-8501-S is a model with infrared activated sear side burners, which helps to preheat sear meats quickly before they are placed on the grill. However, while the grill can simultaneously hold more than 12 to 15 pieces of sear meat, the side burner has a much lower capacity. The side burner produces a large amount of heat, which is preferred for good sear on the meat surface but only a single piece can be seared on it at a given time, it thus has limited practical use. Another large 5 burner model is Brinkmann Smoker Model#810-1750-S which has a small smoker built into the cabinet. However, the Brinkmann gas grill parts used in this model are often said to be of low quality as the metal used in this model is 430 stainless steel. The burner is cheaper than similar products available in the market.
Brinkmann 4-Burner 3810-7451-S is a lightweight model provided with a side burner. Another 4 model burner is 810-8411-S is a higher model that can be used to all kinds of cooking besides rotisserie. Brinkmann gas Grill Rotisserie is a little more expensive and electric rotisseries like the Model 3812-3501-0 can be used with all Brinkmann-gas grills.

Smoking using gas grill: Remove Burner Shield or not?
I have been watching "License to Grill" and want to try smoking some things on my gas grill. on the show, they have you create "smole pouches" (1 part wet wood chips to 2 parts dry in perforated aluminum foil) that you lay directly on the heat source. My grill has a metal burner shield. should i remove it and put the packet directly on the flame or lay it on the burner shield?
