Gas fireplace starter logs and ceramics. Problems or am I going?
Today I bought the wood for the household which has a starting gas. When I made this purchase, I was informed that I could simply put ceramic logs for my fireplace, gas fireplace in my boot and allow heat to roar in the files. No harm, no foul. I searched the net and found no information for or against this method. It looks good in the fireplace, but I guarantee a safe operation. Good or bad idea? Why? Thank you! Roget "
I do not see where there would be a problem if the file lighter is in good shape, the gas valve is located outside the home, whether at home or in the ground near the fireplace. Moreover when burning the false records of the damper must be open a little. When you buy a kit to register the manufacture of clamps depilatory gas supplies for this purpose should not be difficult to locate one of these or something similar. good luck
