Which grill would you recommend. The Weber Q 300 or Weber Spirit E-210?
I purchased a small townhouse and I'm looking for a quality grill that wouldn't take up too much space.
We've had a Weber Q since they first came out and just love it. It's very reliable. To get consistent results for things like steaks, boneless chicken breasts, pork chops, burgers, etc. we start it on high with the lid closed for about 10 minutes and then turn it down to medium for grilling.
For grilling times we use the cookout calculator at charcoalbob.com. Just enter the details about the items being grilled (cut, thickness, doneness you want, etc.) and it will give you a timeline of when to put on and turn things so that everything comes off the grill at the same time grilled the way you want it.
Another big advantage of the Weber Q is that it's very easy to bring into the kitchen for cleaning. I just wish our Weber Q had the thermometer in the lid which I believe the new 300 model has.
